These terms apply to all orders, purchases, and use of our website. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately once posted on our website. It is your responsibility to check for updates.
2. Respectful Communication
We believe in kindness and respect. When interacting with our staff, whether via WhatsApp, email, or social media, we expect the same in return.
We do not tolerate:
· Slang or inappropriate language directed at our team.
· Offensive, abusive, or threatening behaviour.
· Any form of harassment or disrespect.
If a client uses inappropriate language, they will receive a first and final warning. Should the behaviour continue after two warnings, the client will be blocked on all our social media platforms and banned from shopping with us. Their current order will be cancelled and no further assistance will be provided.
Furthermore, we do not tolerate any form of evil language, spells, curses, or negative spiritual attacks against our brand, our staff, or our clients. If we sense any such behaviour, we declare the following:
We bind you in the name of Jesus. We break any spell, any evil layers, and any evil doing against our brand and our people. Conduct yourself, right now! In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. 3. Products and Descriptions
We do our best to show our products clearly through images and descriptions. However, please note that:
· Screen colours may vary. The wig you receive may look slightly different in person.
· We cannot guarantee that every product description is completely error free.
· If a product does not match its description, your only remedy is to return it in line with our returns policy.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price at checkout is the final price for your order.
We accept payment via bank transfer and major credit or debit cards. Full payment is required before we process or ship your order. If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed.
To confirm your payment, we require a PDF proof of payment. We do not accept screenshots or any other file format. Only PDF documents will be accepted. We will follow up with you after payment to confirm receipt and proceed with your order.
If our payment system is down, South African clients may continue checking out using bank transfer. For international clients, we kindly ask that you wait until the payment system is back up and running before completing your order. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
5. Order Acceptance
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email and/ or WhatsApp. This does not mean your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
· The product being out of stock.
· Payment not being received or confirmed.
· Suspicion of fraud or unauthorised activity.
· The courier being unable to deliver to your destination or desired location.
If we cancel your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund. Refunds are only processed for funds that have been received and confirmed by us.
For international clients, if our payment system is down when you place your order, we will reserve your order and product for 24 hours once the payment system is back online. If you do not complete checkout within that 24 hour window, your order will be cancelled and the product will be sold to the next customer.
6. Shipping and Delivery
We ship nationwide in South Africa and to most international destinations. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, or any other event outside our control.
Once your order is dispatched, we will send you the courier details and tracking number via email and WhatsApp. This allows you to follow your parcel every step of the way.
If your order is delayed, lost, or stuck in customs, please contact the delivery company directly to resolve the matter. We will assist with tracking information where we can, but the courier is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of your parcel.
Once your parcel is handed to the courier, risk of loss or damage passes to you. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages after delivery.
7. Returns and Refunds
Please refer to our Delivery and Returns Guide for full details. In short:
· You have 48 hours from delivery to request a return.
· The wig must be unworn, uncut, untrimmed, and in its original packaging.
· You pay for return shipping.
· Refunds are processed after we assess the returned item.
· We do not offer exchanges.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including logos, images, text, and product designs, is the property of Lainey Synths. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our written permission.
9. User Conduct
When using our website or interacting with us, you agree to:
· Provide accurate and honest information.
· Not use our website for any unlawful purpose.
· Not attempt to interfere with the security or functionality of our website.
· Not impersonate Lainey Synths or any of our employees.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lainey Synths is not liable for:
· Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products.
· Any loss, damage, or injury caused by improper use of our products.
· Any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from our products.
· Any delays or failures caused by events beyond our control.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the total amount you paid for the product.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase will be handled in South African courts.
12. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms will still apply.

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
· Natural disasters, fires, or floods.
· War, riots, or civil unrest.
· Pandemics or health emergencies.

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Delivery and Returns Guide, form the entire agreement between you and Lainey Synths. They replace any previous agreements or understandings.
No other policies or documents apply unless specifically stated in writing by us.
