1. How to Pay

We accept bank transfers and major credit or debit cards. Full payment is required before we pack and ship your order. If your payment fails or is late, your order may be delayed or cancelled. We do not charge any hidden fees.

To confirm your payment, we require a PDF proof of payment. We do not accept screenshots or any other file format. Only PDF documents will be accepted. We will follow up with you after payment to confirm receipt and proceed with your order.

If our payment system is down, South African clients may continue checking out using bank transfer. For international clients, we kindly ask that you wait until the payment system is back up and running before completing your order. We will reserve your order and product for 24 hours once the payment system is back online. If you do not complete checkout within that 24 hour window, your order will be cancelled and the product sold to the next customer.

Your personal and banking information is safe with us. We use it only to process your order and communicate with you. We do not share, sell, or give your information to any other parties. Your privacy matters to us.

2. Order Changes and Cancellations

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email and WhatsApp. This does not mean your order has been accepted.

You can change or cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it. After that, your order goes to packing and we cannot make changes. If you need to change your delivery address, you must contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, the address cannot be edited.

If you cancel after 12 hours but before your order ships, a small handling fee may apply. Once your order has been handed to the courier, it cannot be cancelled.

Refunds are only processed for funds that have been received and confirmed by us.

We reserve the right to cancel your order if the courier is unable to deliver to your destination or desired location.

For international clients, if our payment system is down when you place your order, we will reserve your order and product for 24 hours once the payment system is back online. If you do not complete checkout within that 24 hour window, your order will be cancelled and the product will be sold to the next customer.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Quality matters to us. Before any wig leaves our hands, we do a full inspection and capture of each product to ensure it meets our standards. We do not ship anything without this quality check.

That said, if your wig still arrives damaged or with a factory fault, please email us within 48 hours of receiving it. Include clear photos of the damage and your order number. We will assess the issue and offer you a replacement or a refund. This policy is separate from our standard returns for change of mind.

Please note that damage caused by improper use, heat styling, or neglect is not covered.

4. Out of Stock Items

We do our best to keep our stock updated, but sometimes items sell out faster than expected. If you order a wig that is no longer available, we will contact you within 24 hours. You can choose to wait for the next batch, swap to a similar style, or receive a full refund.

5. Discounts and Promotions

From time to time, we may offer discounts or promotions. These are valid for a limited time and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated. Promotions may not apply to wholesale orders unless specifically mentioned. We reserve the right to change or end any promotion at any time.

6. Custom Orders

If you require custom colours, lengths, or styles, please contact us directly. Custom orders may take longer to prepare and may require a deposit. Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty.

7. Liability

Lainey Synths is not responsible for:

· Allergic reactions to our products or packaging.
· Damage caused by improper use, incorrect washing, or heat styling.
· Hair loss, scalp irritation, or any other personal health issues.
· Delays caused by couriers, weather, or customs.
· Lost or stolen packages after they have been handed to the courier.

We always do our best to provide high quality products and reliable service. If you have any concerns, please contact us before using your wig. We are here to help.

8. Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. Any information you share with us is used only to process your orders and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where required for delivery or payment.

What we collect: Your name, contact details, delivery address, and payment information.

How we use it: To process orders, arrange delivery, and send order updates. We will only send marketing messages if you give us clear permission.

Your rights: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your information. You can also object to how we use it. Contact us anytime to do so.

How we protect it: We use secure systems to keep your data safe. If a breach occurs, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by law.

How long we keep it: We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfil your order or as required by law.

9. Beware of Scams and Fraud

We care about your safety. Unfortunately, some people may pretend to be Lainey Synths using our name, logo, or product images to trick clients.

We do not use any other social media platforms. If someone contacts you from a different number, email, or account claiming to be us, please do not respond. Do not send money or share personal information.

To protect both you and us, we require a PDF proof of payment before we process or ship any order. No order will be shipped without receiving this document. This helps us confirm that the payment is real and from the correct person.

If you are unsure about any communication, stop and contact us directly using the details above. We will confirm if it is really us. If you fall victim to a scammer pretending to be us, please notify your bank immediately and report the incident. If you receive bank details from us via WhatsApp, you can always verify them by calling our bank, Capitec Business, to confirm they belong to Lainey Synths.

If you spot a fake account or scammer, please report it to us and the platform immediately. Your safety matters to us. Stay alert and stay safe.
