Our Delivery and Returns Guide

1. Nationwide delivery within South Africa:

Takes 7 to 14 business days. This does not include weekends or public holidays. We pack and hand your order to the courier within 2 to 3 business days after we receive your full payment. Once your parcel is on its way, we will email you a tracking number so you can follow it every step of the way. Please understand that we cannot control delays caused by the courier, bad weather, or postal strikes. If your package shows as delivered but you have not received it, you will need to contact the courier directly. We are always here to help with your tracking information.

2. For international deliveries:

Please allow 14 to 21 business days, also excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and do not cover customs duties, import taxes, or other fees that your country may charge. Those are for you to pay. We ship to most countries worldwide, but we kindly ask that you check your local postal rules before placing an order. If customs holds your parcel, delivery will take longer, and we truly wish we could speed that up, but we cannot. If you have any questions about shipping, please reach out to us before you buy. We want you to feel confident and informed every step of the way.

3. Incorrect shipping address:

Please double check your address at checkout. If you notice a mistake, you can contact us within 24 hours of placing your order and we will fix it for you. After 24 hours, we cannot change the address anymore because your order goes into packing. If the parcel is sent to the wrong address and comes back to us, you will need to pay for shipping again to resend it.

4. Contact us before worrying:

If your parcel is taking longer than expected, please email us first before leaving a review or opening a dispute. We will track it down for you and keep you updated.

5. Wholesale delivery process:

For wholesale orders, we start by sending you a quotation within 24 hours of your request. We then take another 24 hours or less to confirm stock availability, your delivery address, and payment. Once everything is confirmed and paid, we pack and ship your order.

For South African wholesale deliveries, please allow 7 to 14 business days. This does not include weekends or public holidays.

For international wholesale deliveries, please allow 14 to 21 business days. This also does not include weekends or public holidays.

We will email you a tracking number as soon as your parcel is on its way. Please note that customs fees and import taxes for international orders are your responsibility. If your parcel is delayed, kindly email us before leaving a review or opening a dispute. We are always here to help.

6. What Happens If You Want to Return a Wig

We want you to love your Lainey Synths wig. But if you need to return it, here is how it works.

You have 48 hours from the day you receive your wig to let us know you want to return it. The wig must not have been worn, cut, trimmed, or customized in any way. It must be in its original packaging with all the goodies inside. Please pack it neatly before sending it back. You are responsible for the return shipping fees.

Once we receive your return, we will assess the wig to make sure it meets our conditions. If everything looks good, we will process your refund. We will send you a PDF proof of payment as confirmation of your refund. Please note that we cannot control how long your bank takes to show the money in your account. You will need to check with your bank for their processing times. To claim your refund, you must also provide us with a PDF proof of payment from your original purchase.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you want a different wig, you would need to return your wig to us first, or visit our website to purchase a new wig. Please refer to Point 6 above for our return policy. Once we receive and check your return, we will refund you. You can then place a new order for the wig you want. Please understand that exchanges are not cost effective because you would have to pay for return shipping, new shipping fees, and possibly customs duties again. That is why we keep it simple and only accept returns.
