MOLD is a design and maker studio based in Makati, Philippines.
We work across product design, fabrication, education, material exploration, brand collaborations, workshops, and circular design.
Our space also houses the MOLD (CIRCULAR) STORE, where we bring together our own objects and selected work from other designers and makers.
Where are MOLD products made?
Many MOLD objects are designed and produced in our Makati studio or made locally with our fabrication and production partners.
We intentionally work in smaller production runs rather than treating every object as a mass-produced product.
Are all your products sustainable?
We prefer not to describe everything we make simply as "sustainable."
Instead, we try to make better decisions around materials, production methods, waste, longevity, repair, reuse, and what happens to objects at the end of their useful life.
Some projects use biomaterials such as PLA, recycled plastics, reclaimed materials, or additive manufacturing processes that can reduce production waste.
For us, sustainability is an ongoing design practice rather than a label.
Are your products 3D printed?
Many of our original objects are made using additive manufacturing or 3D printing, although MOLD also works with many other materials and fabrication processes.
3D printing allows us to produce locally, experiment quickly, manufacture in smaller quantities, and create forms that would be difficult to make using traditional methods.
Why can I see lines or textures on my 3D-printed object?
Layer lines are a natural characteristic of the 3D-printing process.
Rather than completely hiding how something was made, we often allow the process to become part of the object's visual language.
Small variations in texture and finish are normal.
Are the products always in stock?
Not necessarily.
Some products are available immediately, while others are produced in small batches or made to order.
If your item requires production, our team will let you know the expected lead time.
Can I request another color or size?
Possibly.
Some MOLD objects can be produced in different colors, materials, or dimensions depending on the design.
Send us a message before ordering and we can let you know what is possible.
Customizations may involve additional production time and cost.
Can MOLD customize a product for my company or event?
Yes.
MOLD works with brands, companies, architects, designers, agencies, and organizations on custom objects, branded pieces, installations, activations, and fabrication projects.
Message us with your idea, quantity, target date, and approximate budget and our studio can review the project.
Do you accept commissions?
Yes.
We work on custom product design, fabrication, prototypes, installations, objects, corporate projects, and design collaborations.
Projects are quoted separately depending on design requirements, materials, quantities, development work, and production.
Can I visit MOLD?
Yes.
MOLD is based in Makati and includes our design studio, makerspace, MOLD (CIRCULAR) STORE, and café.
Studio activities, workshops, and access to certain areas may vary depending on the day, so message us if you are coming specifically for a workshop, consultation, or makerspace visit.
Do you offer workshops?
Yes.
MOLD runs workshops and learning programs for adults, children, designers, companies, schools, and private groups.
Programs change throughout the year and may include 3D printing, product making, material exploration, circular design, and other hands-on activities.
Can I pick up my online order from MOLD?
When store pickup is available, you may collect your order from our Makati space after receiving confirmation that it is ready.
Please wait for our confirmation before heading to the studio.
Something arrived damaged. What should I do?
Send us a message as soon as possible with your order details and clear photos of the product and packaging.
We will review what happened and help determine the appropriate replacement, repair, or next step.
