MOLD is a design and maker studio in Makati where ideas move from concept to object.
We work at the intersection of design, making, learning, and sustainability, creating objects, programs, collaborations, and systems rooted in thoughtful design and material exploration.
We started MOLD with a simple observation:
Design, education, fabrication, and sustainability often exist separately.
At MOLD, we bring them together.
Our practice includes original objects and collections, custom fabrication, brand commissions, workshops, material experimentation, and collaborative design programs.
We believe that making is a way of thinking, not simply a way of producing things. We believe people learn differently when their hands are involved, and that circularity becomes meaningful when it is part of everyday practice rather than an afterthought.
Many of the objects you see in our store are made locally, in small batches, or produced through digital and additive manufacturing. Alongside our own work, the MOLD (CIRCULAR) STORE brings together objects from designers and makers whose practices explore better ways of making, using, reusing, and valuing materials.
Our goal is not to claim that everything is perfectly sustainable.
It is to keep asking better questions about how things are designed, how they are made, how long they last, and what happens to them next.
