FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store your bread and pastries?

Our products are made without preservatives, so they are best enjoyed fresh. Bread will keep 1–2 days at room temperature if wrapped in paper or a clean towel (avoid plastic, which softens the crust). Pastries are best the same day, but can be stored up to 2 days in an airtight container. For longer storage, freezing works well: slice bread before freezing so you can defrost only what you need, and place pastries in a freezer-safe bag or container. To enjoy again, let them thaw at room temperature and refresh in the oven for a few minutes to restore crispness and aroma. Refrigeration is not recommended, as it dries the products.

Can I freeze your products?

Yes. Bread and pastries freeze very well. Bread should be sliced before freezing, pastries should be wrapped or stored in freezer-safe bags.

---

How do I reheat frozen products?

Bread: Toast slices directly from frozen, or let a loaf thaw and warm in the oven for a few minutes.

Pastries: Defrost at room temperature, then warm in the oven for 5–7 minutes at 160°C (320°F).

---

Do your products contain preservatives?

No. All of our products are baked fresh, using only natural ingredients.

---

Do you bake every day?

No. I bake three days a week, by order only. The other days are dedicated to purchases, preparation, production, accounting, and… life.

---

Can you slice the bread for me?

No. The bread is usually still warm when I deliver, which makes the crumb sticky and fragile, so slicing could damage it. Also, slicing takes too much time. I prefer to focus my efforts on making sure your order is ready and of the best quality.

---

Are your breads gluten-free or vegan?
Our breads are not gluten-free, but they are vegan. Pastries, however, usually contain butter, milk, or eggs.

---

What’s the best way to enjoy them after storage?

Always give them a few minutes in the oven before serving — this restores the aroma, texture, and taste as if they were just baked.
