The botanical pattern is derived from the work of William Morris, reproduced from a licensed commercial archive. Morris’s Arts & Crafts designs shaped decorative textile traditions across Britain and travelled globally, influencing early pattern sensibilities in regions including Malaysia.

Within this historical framework, yiliyuli’s illustrated toadstools are layered gently into the composition — a contemporary narrative placed inside a lineage of design.
