How do I place an order?

You can order in two ways: browse our store and check out here on the website, or message THE MATE directly on WhatsApp at +20 105 546 0076. Either way, we will confirm your order with you before delivery.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Please book 2–3 days before your vessel arrives — this gives us time to source everything and arrange the delivery boat. Need something urgently? Message us on WhatsApp; in many cases we can prioritise an order within 2–3 hours.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to vessels at Port Said East Terminals, Port Said West Terminals, during Suez Canal transit, at the Anchorage Area, and at OPL (Offshore Pilotage Limits).

How does delivery to my ship work?

Our service boat brings your order out to your vessel and delivers it to the gangway. Just give us your vessel name, location, and expected timing when you order, and we handle the rest.

How do I pay?

We work on a cash-on-delivery basis. You pay only when your order reaches your ship — no advance payment, no card details, no hidden fees. Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD); if you need to pay in another currency, let us know on WhatsApp and we will arrange it.

Is there a minimum order, and how much is delivery?

Yes — minimum order amounts and delivery fees depend on your delivery zone, and each zone has a free-delivery threshold for larger orders. You can see the full breakdown on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Can you deliver during Suez Canal transit?

Yes. We deliver to vessels transiting the Suez Canal. Please book in advance and share your transit schedule so we can meet you on time.

Can I place a large or bulk order for the whole crew?

Absolutely. We regularly supply full vessels and welcome bulk orders. For large orders, ship management, or regular provisioning, message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange the best pricing for you.

What is the Scrap for Provisions program?

Crew Mates Hub lets you swap your vessel's scrap for fresh provisions or cash. It's a simple way to turn unwanted material into supplies your crew can use. See our Scrap page for how it works.

What if an item is missing, wrong, or damaged?

Please check your order with our delivery crew before you pay. If anything is missing, wrong, or damaged, tell the crew straight away and we will correct it on the spot or adjust the amount you owe. Full details are on our Store Policies page.
