Poorna consists of: 54% Arabica Naturals for a rich, smooth flavor 30% Robusta Naturals for a bold, full-bodied taste 4% C X R hybrid for added depth and complexity 12% organic chicory from an organic farmer in Tamil Nadu for a subtle, earthy note Perfected over 4 years, this blend is impossible to find in the open market. Nature-Driven Farming Our farm is nestled deep in the forest, surrounded by wildlife and devoid of fences. We're situated in a designated elephant corridor, with majestic elephants roaming freely alongside other incredible creatures like bears, gaurs, leopards, barking deer, and sambar deer. Our farm emulates a food forest, with a diverse range of fruits like oranges, kafir lime, jackfruit, grapefruit, cocoa, and native mangoes growing alongside our coffee plants. Our farm receives an astonishing 300 inches of annual rainfall, creating a lush and vibrant ecosystem that nurtures our coffee plants and the surrounding wildlife. Asian palm civets, in particular, have a special fondness for our coffee berries, consuming over half of our produce each year! They revel in the sweet, juicy flavor of our fully ripened coffee fruits. Holistic Farming Principles We employ best-in-class manure management, using a combination of ground application and foliar sprays. Our farm is chemical-free, with no weed killers or harmful pesticides used. Instead, we utilize specialty enzymes like EM and create our own Kunapajala to promote soil health. Our plants are strategically planted along contours to prevent soil runoff during heavy rainfall months (June to Oct). This innovative approach ensures soil conservation and reduces erosion.
