How is shipping weight calculated?

Shipping charges are based on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.

This mainly applies to bulky but lightweight items.

Are taxes included?

Yes.

Taxes and customs processing fees are included in our service fee unless otherwise stated.

What items are not accepted?

We cannot accept: • Fresh food products

• Illegal or prohibited items
• Items restricted by customs regulations or airline policies

What happens if customs holds my shipment?

All shipments are subject to inspection and approval by Romanian Customs authorities.

While BessieMart assists with customs documentation and processing, customs inspections, delays, additional duties, taxes, import restrictions, confiscation, or other requirements imposed by customs authorities remain outside our control.

For customer-supplied shipments, customers are responsible for ensuring that their items do not contain prohibited or restricted goods.

Please note that customs clearance and import approval cannot be guaranteed, as customs decisions are made solely by the relevant authorities.
