Sourdough Frenchie is a home based bakery (Food Safety & Hygiene Certified) offering handcrafted sourdough breads that are made on a pre-order basis, twice a month on Sundays only.
Our sourdoughs are naturally leavened, dairy free, gut-friendly and do not contain added sugars, preservatives or commercial additives/instant yeast. They also go through a minimum 12-hr overnight cold fermentation for a deeper flavour profile and slight chewy texture.

Pickups are FREE (from Simei) and delivery is from $5 onwards based on postal code.
You may place an order and we will get back to you within 1 business day on the final amount for payment via Paynow or Paylah!.

Why Sourdough bread?
Sourdough bread is made with a sourdough starter; a fermented mix of flour and water with natural yeasts that help bread rise.
- It is more digestible than regular bread as the fermentation process breaks down gluten that can cause bloating and other digestive issues.
- The lactic acid in sourdough bread helps your body absorb more of the nutrients in comparison to regular yeasted bread.
- It has a lower glycemic index (low GI) as it is fermented in a way that depletes bad starches within it, which means it won't cause your blood sugar to rise so drastically upon consumption.
