Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Rayar’s Food, we take great pride in the integrity and quality of our cuisine. We strive to ensure that every meal served or delivered meets our high standards. However, we understand that errors can occasionally occur.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns on food items. However, we are committed to resolving issues through refunds or replacements under the specific conditions outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Refunds or Replacements
We will issue a full or partial refund (or replacement) under the following circumstances:
Missing Items: If an item you ordered is missing from your delivery or pickup package.
Incorrect Items: If you received an item different from what was listed on your order receipt.
Quality Issues: If the food arrives spoiled, spilled, or is otherwise unfit for consumption due to our error.
Severe Delays: If a delivery is significantly delayed due to our internal operations.
Note: For quality issues or incorrect items, we may request photographic proof to help us improve our quality control.
2. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:
Taste Preference: We cook our food to authentic recipes; subjective dissatisfaction with the flavor or spice level is not grounds for a refund.
Incorrect Contact Details: If the food cannot be delivered because the customer provided an incorrect phone number or address.
Change of Mind: Once the food has been prepared or dispatched, the order is considered final.
Unavailability: If the customer is not present at the delivery address to receive the order.
3. Order Cancellations
Customer Cancellations: You may cancel your order for a full refund only within 5 minutes of placing the order. Once the kitchen has begun preparation, we cannot offer a refund.
Restaurant Cancellations: Rayar’s Food reserves the right to cancel an order due to ingredient unavailability, technical errors, or safety concerns (including COVID-19 related restrictions). In such cases, a 100% refund will be issued immediately.
4. Refund Processing Time
If your refund request is approved:
Online Payments: The refund will be credited back to the original source of payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Wallet) within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Cash on Delivery: For COD orders where a dispute arises after payment, we will issue a store credit or transfer the amount via bank transfer/UPI within 48 hours.
5. Reporting an Issue
To request a refund, please contact us within 2 hours of receiving your order. Complaints lodged after this window may not be honoured due to the perishable nature of the goods.
