Return and Exchange Policy
At Paws Up Feeds, we prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. However, certain terms and conditions apply to returns and exchanges to ensure transparency and fairness. Please read our policy carefully before initiating a return or exchange.

General Conditions
Proof of Purchase:
Returns and exchanges will only be processed with proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.

Condition of Items:
Items being returned or exchanged must be in their original packaging, unused, and in the same condition as delivered. (Sealed and with all tags intact)

Timeframe for Returns and Exchanges:
Requests for returns or exchanges must be made within 3 days of receiving the item.
Approval Required:

No returns or exchanges will be accepted without prior written approval from our team.

Returns
Defective Products:
We accept returns for defective products only.
Defects must be reported within 2 days of delivery, with clear proof (e.g., photos).

Wrongfully Ordered Items:
Returns for items ordered incorrectly by the customer may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Approval is at our sole discretion, and additional charges may apply.

Cold-Storage Items:
Products requiring refrigeration or freezing cannot be returned due to the risk of breaking the cold chain, which compromises safety and quality.

Customer Responsibility for Costs:
For returns where we are not at fault, all associated pickup and delivery costs will be borne by the customer.
Exchanges

Eligible Items:
Exchanges will only be accepted for eligible products. Items must be in original condition, unused, and in original packaging.

Process:
Exchange requests must be made within 3 days of delivery.
Approval for exchanges is subject to availability of the replacement item.

Non-Returnable Items
Perishables and Opened Products:
Perishable items or opened packages of food, treats, or other consumables cannot be returned or exchanged.
Hygiene Products:
Products related to pet hygiene (e.g., grooming tools, bedding) are non-returnable once opened for hygiene and safety reasons.

Liability Disclaimer
Inspection at Delivery:
Customers are advised to inspect their order at the time of delivery. Any damages or missing items must be reported immediately upon receipt.

Risk During Return/Exchange:
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return or exchange process. Customers are advised to package items securely and use a reliable courier service.

Limitation of Liability:
Our liability is limited to the value of the product being returned or exchanged and does not extend to consequential damages or loss.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Contact us at admin@pawsupfeed.co.za with your order number, reason for the return/exchange, and relevant proof (e.g., photos of defective items).
