Mcleod Prints Website Policies

Website: https://mcleodprints.store | Draft date: 26 September 2026

Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern purchases from MCLEOD PRINTS (PTY) LTD through https://mcleodprints.store.
“We” and “us” mean the business identified in the Contact section.
“You” means the customer.

By placing an order you agree to the terms applicable at checkout. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Products and orders
We sell manufactured and printed products, including animal themed décor and accessories. Each item is illustrated in the relevant product image. Colour, finish and dimensions may vary slightly because of screen settings and the manufacturing process. Any material variation or substitution requires your agreement. Please check sizes, colours, quantities and any personalisation before submitting your order. An order is accepted when we confirm it, subject to stock, production capacity and payment. If we cannot fulfil it, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund.

Prices and payment
The price shown at checkout is the price charged for the goods, subject to correction of an obvious error before acceptance. Delivery fees and applicable taxes will be shown or confirmed before payment. Prices and available payment methods may differ by country. We do not ask you to send payment card details by ordinary email or message. For an incorrect published price, we will seek your approval of the corrected amount or cancel and refund the order.

Production and delivery
We manufacture and sell in South Africa, Namibia and the USA. Small orders have a minimum production lead time of four working days. Lead times on larger, customised or high volume orders will be discussed before confirmation of the order. Production time is separate from shipping time. The applicable Delivery and Shipping Policy explains delivery estimates, charges and delays. Unless otherwise agreed, we will meet applicable legal delivery deadlines and remedies.

Customer instructions and intellectual property
You confirm that any design, name, logo or other material you supply may lawfully be used to make your order. We may decline orders requiring the use of material that infringes another person’s rights or is unlawful. Our product designs, photographs, text, website content and digital design files remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Purchasing a physical product does not grant rights to copy, reproduce, distribute or resell our design files.

Product care and safety
Our products are heat sensitive. Keep them away from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C. Follow any product specific care and mounting instructions. Small items and detachable parts may be a choking hazard; keep them away from young children where appropriate. Do not use an item for food contact or any purpose unless its listing expressly says it is suitable for that use. These instructions do not reduce your statutory rights concerning defective goods.

Changes and disputes
The version available when your order is placed governs that order. We may update these website terms for future orders. Contact us first if there is a problem so we can resolve it. South African consumer orders are subject to applicable South African consumer law; customers elsewhere retain any mandatory protection applicable to their purchase. A court or consumer authority with jurisdiction may hear unresolved disputes.

Refund and Returns Policy
Contact us at mcleodprints@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the problem and, where useful, photographs. We will explain the next step and provide a return address or collection instructions. Please do not send an item before receiving instructions. We will not require you to give up a statutory remedy because you did not report a problem within a voluntary reporting period.

Defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods
If a product is defective, unsafe, materially different from its description or not the item ordered, contact us promptly. For qualifying South African consumer goods that fail statutory quality standards within six months after delivery, you may return them without penalty at our risk and expense and choose a repair, replacement or refund, as the law provides. Other mandatory rights, including rights in Namibia or the USA where applicable, remain available. We may inspect the item to verify the problem, without delaying or denying a lawful remedy. Please retain the item and packaging where practical.

Change of mind and cooling off
For qualifying South African online transactions, you may cancel within seven days after receiving goods without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. The direct cost of returning goods may be payable by you in this situation. We will refund payment within 30 days of cancellation, as required by that Act. This cooling off right does not generally apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. We will tell you when an exception applies. Other statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
If a statutory cooling off right does not apply, we can consider an unused, standard item for a discretionary return if you contact us within five working days after delivery. This voluntary option requires advance approval; shipping charges and return shipping treatment will be explained before you send the item. Personalised goods are generally excluded from discretionary change of mind returns, but remain covered if defective or incorrectly supplied.

Damage in transit and refunds
If an item arrives damaged, photograph the item and packaging and contact us as soon as practical so we can investigate with the carrier. This request does not shorten any legal claim period. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method where possible, including applicable original delivery charges where law requires. Bank and payment provider processing times vary. We will not offer store credit instead of a refund where you have a legal right to a refund.

Delivery and Shipping Policy

Where we deliver
Mcleod Prints sells in South Africa, Namibia and the USA. Availability of delivery to a particular address is confirmed at checkout or before we accept your order. We may manufacture and dispatch orders within the relevant country, depending on the item and location. We will tell you before payment if an order must ship internationally and if import duties, customs charges or local taxes may be payable by you.

Production and transit times
Small orders require at least four working days for production before dispatch. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays at the production location. Larger or personalised orders may require more time; we will communicate an estimate before or after confirmation. Delivery transit time starts after dispatch and depends on the carrier and destination. Any displayed date is an estimate unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date.

Charges, address and tracking
Shipping charges and available methods will be shown at checkout or quoted for approval before payment. Provide a complete, accurate address and a reachable contact number. If a parcel is returned because the supplied details are incorrect or delivery is repeatedly unsuccessful, we will discuss the cost of redelivery before charging it. Where tracking is available, we will provide the tracking information after dispatch.

Delays, loss and delivery problems
Contact us at mcleodprints@gmail.com if your parcel is delayed, lost or damaged. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law. We remain responsible for delivery until the goods are supplied to you or a person you authorise, subject to applicable law. If we cannot deliver within the agreed period, we will contact you with options, including cancellation and a refund where required. For South African electronic transactions with no agreed delivery period, the statutory default delivery period and cancellation remedies apply.

Information we collect and why
• Order and contact details, such as name, email, telephone number, delivery and billing addresses, product choices and messages, to accept orders, make products, deliver parcels and provide support.
• Payment confirmation and transaction records to process payments, refunds, accounting and fraud checks. Payments may be handled by a payment provider; we should not receive your full card number unless the checkout expressly states otherwise.
• Website and device information, such as IP address, browser details, usage logs and cookies, where collected by our website provider, to operate, secure and improve the site and remember settings.
• Marketing preferences and contact details to send promotions only where permitted. You can opt out through the message instructions or by contacting us.

Sharing and international handling
We share only the information needed with service providers such as the website and payment providers, manufacturers, delivery companies, hosting providers and advisers, and with authorities when legally required. Because we serve South Africa, Namibia and the USA, information may be processed across borders. Where South African POPIA applies, we will use the safeguards or other lawful basis required for cross border transfers. We do not sell customer personal information.

Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for orders, support, legal record keeping and disputes, then delete or deidentify it when appropriate. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to people who need it. No online system can guarantee absolute security; if a reportable breach occurs, we will notify affected people and regulators as law requires.

Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your information, request access or correction, object to certain processing, request deletion where appropriate and withdraw consent for optional marketing. We may need to verify your identity and retain some records where the law requires. For South African privacy concerns, you may also complain to the Information Regulator [http://www.inforegulator.org.za].

Cookies and third-party services
Our website may use essential cookies for checkout and security and optional analytics or advertising tools if enabled. External websites linked from our store have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy and will display the revised date on the website.

These policies apply alongside any mandatory consumer and privacy rights in the customer’s country.
