Makazo Writes

Makazo Mwangala is an aspiring writer and accomplished Communications Specialist from the beautiful country of Zambia. Born in Lusaka, Zambia but raised in Windhoek, Namibia, Makazo has always had a passion for the written word.

As an advocate for education and storytelling, Makazo has also engaged with youth programs, including media literacy initiatives in Namibia, demonstrating a passion for empowering others through storytelling and awareness. When not crafting suspenseful narratives, Makazo can be found binging Korean Dramas, listening to Kpop, reading or learning Korean through self-study.

Known for blending suspense, human complexity, and emotional depth in her stories, Makazo seeks to capture readers’ hearts and minds, beginning with her first foray into the Crime/Thriller genre that has produced her series titled, The Phantom Series.

The first installment of the series is titled The Silent Hour, which aims to capture readers’ imaginations with a dark, gripping tale that dives into the human psyche amidst crime and mystery.
