Naes Cosmetics began in April 2020 while Nae was attending the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean. During her studies, she explored different avenues to generate income, and her love for bonnets and personalized items led her to analyze the market closely.
As a natural hair enthusiast, Nae recognized the needs of busy women and set out to create a brand and community that offered a safe, supportive space for them. After discovering the untapped potential within the market, she transitioned to working full-time on the business while perfecting her craft part-time. Naes Cosmetics was officially established in April 2022.
In December 2025, the brand expanded into Kustomized by Nae, a dedicated branch focused on customized items, allowing the business to reach a wider audience and offer even more personalized creations.
