If you frequently wear heavy makeup or spend a long time outside, you can use a cleansing oil or micellar water before your CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser to ensure all residue and sunscreen are completely melted away.

When using multiple layers of hydration like a serum and a thicker cream, you always want to apply them from the thinnest to the thickest consistency. This ensures optimal absorption.

Make sure to reapply your sunscreen every 2 hours especially when you are outdoors.
