Composting is one of the most valuable skills anyone can learn, and it is easy once you have the basics down. You'll be able to adjust your system to suit your context (big or small!). It's the closest thing to magic!
We'll cover: Hot Composting, cool/slow composting, moisture, C:N ratios, vermicomposting (worms), chop and drop, and a basic overview of fungally versus microbially dominated compost. I'm not a compost professional, but we've been making our own compost for 10 years and growing from this process. This workshop is meant as an overview -- there'll be other times in the year when we'll have a deep dive into specific types of composting.
