About Us

Half-Baked Obsessions began as a stress-relief tactic to my job as a civil engineer. It turns out that when the world is overwhelming, the only logical response is to spend twelve hours obsessing over why a specific tea-infused choux pastry isn't behaving.

I don’t do "normal"; I do interesting. I take the Asian flavors I grew up with and engineer them into desserts for the adventurous.

The Idea: A "half-baked" flavor pairing idea that probably shouldn't work.
The Obsession: Testing and tweaking until it is mathematically—and palatably—perfect.
The Release: Sharing the final result with fellow souls who aren't afraid of unconventional flavors and textures.
