Prodibio Calci Reef Plus is a specially developed hydrogel supplement designed to maintain optimum levels of calcium, magnesium, and part of the alkalinity in reef aquariums. These key elements are essential for the health and growth of corals and coralline calcifying algae, which use calcium and carbonates to build their rigid skeletal structures.
Through biotransformation, under the action of BioDigest bacteria, Prodibio Calci Reef Plus releases hydrogen carbonate ions from the acetate in its calcium hydrogel, helping to stabilize alkalinity naturally. Unlike some additives, Prodibio Calci Reef Plus is gluconate-free, ensuring a clean and balanced supplement for sensitive reef environments.
When used together with Alka Reef+, this combination generates an ionic balance close to that of natural seawater, supporting a healthy and thriving reef ecosystem.
Application & Dosage:
0–120 L: 1 vial per week
121–240 L: 2 vials per week
241–360 L: 3 vials per week
361–480 L: 4 vials per week
481–600 L: 5 vials per week
600+ L: Add 1 vial per 120 liters per week
