The C125 Aspidoras, also known as Aspidoras spilotus or the Spotted Aspidoras, is a small, active catfish native to the coastal river drainages of Ceará State in northeastern Brazil. They are often described as the "spunky cousins" of Corydoras, sharing similar bottom-dwelling habits but with a more elongate body and more active personality.

Physical Characteristics
Size: Typically grows to approximately 4–5 cm (1.5–2 inches).
Appearance: Features a light golden or beige body covered in a variable pattern of dark spots, often giving them a "leopard-like" look.
Varieties: A popular albinotic form known as Aspidoras sp. C125 "Red" exists, which displays a distinct orange-red coloration.
Unique Traits: Like other Aspidoras, they have a dual fontanel bone structure in the skull and the ability to breathe atmospheric air by darting to the surface.
