Excel LABS is a provider of practical science classes designed to instill a love for learning and questioning the world around us.    Young learners aged 10 to 12 years, are guided through a series of exciting topics. Learners aged 12-15 years embark on more challenging activities, deepening their knowledge and understanding of the sciences and laying a foundation toward further study in Grades 10-12, IGCSE and A-Levels.    Biology, Chemistry and Physics practical courses are offered at International GCSE and AS levels, providing comprehensive coverage of the practical syllabi at a steady pace (ideally building skills systematically alongside the theory studies) and increasing opportunities for experimentation, discussion and improving depth of understanding.     Students may join our courses for 1-3 semesters per level, building connections between theory and concrete applications. Our courses are in line with the British International syllabi and exam requirements, although the skills developed are advantageous for learners of all curricula.     Full day exam preparation workshops are more intensive than the courses and cover difficult and most often examined topics and skills. Emphasis is placed on examination strategy and time management. The workshops are ideal for confident, exam-ready students with practical lab experience who wish to improve their competency with an experienced instructor offering personalised feedback and assistance.

AS physics 6 session PRACTICAL course

Semester I 2025: 9:00-13:30 Sat double sessions 8 Feb, 1 Mar, 29 Mar Semester II 2025: 9:00-13:30 Sat double sessions 19 July, 16 July, 6 Sept The AS courses provide comprehensive coverage of the practical syllabi at a steady pace, building skills systematically alongside the theory studies. The courses offer opportunities for experimentation, discussion and improving depth of understanding. This includes handling of apparatus, measuring and interpreting data, creating graphs and drawing conclusions as well as how to design and outline experiments. For students who have limited to no practical experience in a lab, we recommend attending the course(s) for 1 to 3 semesters. We have carefully chosen each semester's range of topics to include as many of the necessary skills as possible and ensure students who wish to enrol for multiple semesters do not repeat activities.
