The Golden Rule: The "First-Time" Application
For Squirt to work, it must bond to bare metal. If there is even a hint of old oil or factory grease, the wax will just slide off.
Deep Clean: Scrub your new or used chain with a strong degreaser until it is completely "squeaky" clean and dry.
Apply: Shake the bottle well. Apply one drop to every link while back-pedaling.
Second Coat: Wait 5 minutes, then apply a second coat.
Let It Dry: IMPORTANT. Do not ride immediately. Let the lube dry until it turns from milky white to clear (ideally overnight). This allows the water to evaporate, leaving only the hard wax inside the rollers.
