what happens if i’m late for collection?
please message us as soon as you know you’ll be late.

1816bakes

what goes into our salt buns?
we keep the base simple — japanese bread flour, milk, butter, sugar, salt and yeast.

from there, each month’s flavours get their own fillings, creams or toppings.

how should i store and reheat my salt buns?
salt buns are best enjoyed fresh on the day.

if you’re keeping them for later, store them airtight and reheat in a toaster or oven until warm and crisp.

items with chilled or perishable fillings should be kept refrigerated and may have different reheating instructions.

milkandcream

what goes into our yogurts?
we start with hokkaido milk and carefully selected japanese dairy, then culture everything slowly for the texture and flavour we want.

depending on the yogurt, we may add milk powder, cream, maple sugar and flavour-specific ingredients such as pistachio, coffee, tea or vanilla.

if you have any allergies or dietary concerns, just chat with us and we’ll be happy to help.

how should i store milkandcream products?
keep milkandcream products refrigerated as soon as possible and chilled until consumption.

for longer journeys, we strongly recommend an insulated bag with ice packs.

why is milkandcream priced higher than regular yogurt?
milkandcream is made in small batches using hokkaido milk, carefully selected dairy and real flavour ingredients.

our yogurts also take time — from slow culturing to extended straining, with our strained yogurt taking up to 72 hours to finish.

the process removes a significant amount of whey, so it takes much more dairy to produce each finished cup.

we don’t use added preservatives, artificial flavourings, artificial sweeteners or added stabilisers.

what you’re paying for is more dairy, more time, and the dense, creamy texture that comes from making it this way.
