Indications
Fungoal Cream is indicated for the treatment of:
- Dermatomycoses: Infections caused by fungi, including:
- Tinea Pedis (Athlete's foot)
- Tinea Cruris (Jock itch)
- Tinea Corporis (Ringworm)
- Candidiasis: Infections caused by Candida species, including:
- Candidal nappy rash
- Vulvitis and balanitis
- Pityriasis Versicolor: A fungal infection that causes discoloration of the skin.
- Erythrasma: A bacterial skin infection that can mimic fungal infections.

Dosage and Administration
- Recommended Dosage:
- Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, gently rubbing it in.
- A strip of cream approximately ½ cm long is sufficient to treat an area about the size of a hand.

- Administration Instructions:
- Ensure the affected area is clean and dry before application.
- If treating athlete's foot, wash and dry the feet thoroughly, especially between the toes.

Duration of Treatment
- Continue treatment for at least 1 month for dermatophyte infections and at least 2 weeks for candidal infections, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Side Effects
Common side effects may include:
- Burning or stinging sensation at the application site.
- Redness or irritation.
- Dryness or peeling of the skin.

Serious side effects are rare but can include:
- Allergic reactions (e.g., rash, swelling, difficulty breathing).
- Severe irritation or blistering at the site of application.
