Types of Cow & Gate Milk Powder
1. Cow & Gate First Infant Milk:
- Suitable From: Birth to 12 months.
- Nutritional Profile: Formulated to be nutritionally complete, containing DHA (Omega-3) and essential vitamins and minerals.
- Ingredients:
- Milk: Includes skimmed milk, vegetable oils (high oleic sunflower oil, coconut oil, rapeseed oil), and whey protein.
- Prebiotics: Contains galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) to support gut health.
- Vitamins and Minerals: Enriched with vitamins A, C, D, E, K, and various B vitamins, along with minerals like calcium, iron, and zinc.

2. Cow & Gate Comfort Milk:
- Suitable For: Babies experiencing colic or constipation.
- Special Features: Contains partially hydrolyzed proteins and reduced lactose to ease digestion.
- Ingredients: Similar base ingredients as the first infant milk but tailored for sensitive tummies.

Preparation Instructions
To prepare Cow & Gate milk powder:
1. Boil Water: Boil fresh water and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
2. Measure Water: Pour the required amount of cooled water into a sterilized bottle.
3. Add Powder: Use the provided scoop to measure the appropriate amount of powder (1 scoop = 4.5g). Mix thoroughly until dissolved.
4. Cool Down: Cool the bottle under running tap water before feeding.

Feeding Guide
- Follow the feeding guide based on your baby's age and weight to determine the number of scoops and amount of water needed per feed.
- Typical feeding amounts vary by age:
- Up to 2 weeks: Approx. 3 scoops in 90ml of water.
- 2-4 weeks: Approx. 4 scoops in 120ml of water.
- Adjust based on your baby’s needs as they grow.
