Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Amoxicillin: 250 mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate)
- Clavulanic Acid: 125 mg (as potassium clavulanate)

Indications
Augmentin 375 mg is indicated for the treatment of various infections, including:
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as sinusitis, pneumonia, and bronchitis.
- Ear Infections: Otitis media.
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Including cellulitis and animal bites.
- Urinary Tract Infections: Such as cystitis and pyelonephritis.
- Dental Infections: Severe dental abscesses with spreading cellulitis.

Dosage
- Adults and Children Over 40 kg: The usual recommended dose is 1 tablet (375 mg) every 8 hours or 1 tablet every 12 hours, depending on the severity of the infection.
- Children Under 40 kg: Dosing is based on body weight and should be determined by a healthcare provider.

Administration
- How to Use: Augmentin tablets should be taken orally with a full glass of water. It is recommended to take the medication with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
- Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.

Common Side Effects
