Antioxidant-rich combination of two different lettuce types, what makes this blend so nutritious is the presence of anthocyanins in both the red and green leaves.
Each bag gives you a blend of two different types of lettuce - one red, and one green. They are a random mix of any of the lettuces in our inventory.
Just pull the leaves apart, give them a quick rinse, then toss in your favourite salad dressing or vinaigrette!
Or, if you're feeling adventurous, turn it into a Creamy Lettuce Soup!
Just sauté some sliced potatoes, garlic, and onions in olive oil.
Toss in the rinsed lettuce, and chicken or vegetable stock.
Bring to a boil.
Once potatoes are tender, blend everything up in a blender or with an immersion stick blender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
