Bright yellow colour. Intense aromas of citric fruit, grilled hazelnut with a mineral touch. On the palate, great varietal fruit intensity enhanced by excellent acidity. The aftertaste lingers with mineral and fruity notes mixed with hints of French oak. This wine exhibits an impressive balance between alcohol and acidity, with freshness, length and aging potential not commonly found in Chilean wines.
In 2000, Felipe de Solminihac and the Bordeaux founders of Vina Aquitania found a southern Chilean terroir offering soils which allowed Pinot Noir to express itself to the fullest. The success of SOLdeSOL helped spur on development of Chilean wine.
