Some Chinese have the habit of ending a meal with sweet soup, while others may prefer to serve sweet snacks between meals.
My mum, Madam Tang would serve her signature Beancurd Lotus Seed Gingko Nuts Sweet Soup and other delights over family gatherings as dessert. The soft lotus seeds and gingko nuts, cooked in a sweet silky beancurd soup, was always everyone’s favourite. The cooking process of this simple looking dish is laborious and time-consuming, but her labour of love in a small bowl will always bring a smile to all in the family gatherings.
COVID19 has created an opportunity for me to start TANG SHUI PO to share my mum’s sweet soup delights as a home-based business. We hope that TANG SHUI PO’s sweet soups continue to bind and connect people together through nourishing goodness. We would love to share the sweet soup delights with you.
