An exciting introduction producing attractive two-tone pink and white stems. A great twist on a traditional favourite vegetable, loved for its crunchy stems and tender baby leaves. Pretty enough to be grown in an ornamental garden or containers on the patio.
The plants look fantastic growing on the plot, allotment or border and hold their colours well whilst cooking. Young stems and leaves have a sweet, mild flavour making excellent additions to salads. However, plants can be grown on to allow the flavour to strengthen, but leaves will benefit from cooking.
