Bensa, located in the Sidamo region approximately 450 km from Addis Ababa, is home to some of Ethiopia’s finest coffee farms. This particular lot features Variety 74158, a well-balanced coffee known for its smooth body, named by the Jimma Agriculture Research Center.

The beans from various farmers in Bensa are sun-dried on raised beds, allowing for even drying over 10-14 days until they reach the perfect moisture level. We roast this coffee on the lighter side of medium to highlight its unique flavors and aromas.

Ethiopia Bensa G2 boasts distinct notes of nectarine and black tea, complemented by a subtle toffee sweetness. Its smooth, oily texture is balanced with a juicy sweetness and acidity, providing a sweet and long-lasting finish. Each cup offers amazing aromas of floral jasmine blossom and berry sweetness, creating a truly delightful coffee experience.
