Stacey's Sugee Loaf with Marzipan

Wrapped up in a layer of home made marzipan, this traditional sugee loaf made a lil smaller so the flavours are a lil more intense! Sugee cake is buttery and almondy and made with semolina flour. Known to be a dense cake, Stacey's buttery sugee cake is more aromatic and lighter with a bit of crunch. The marzipan a lil more almondy than sugary still sweetens the deal. It's a lil boozy. Made with eggs and nuts so, if you have allergies, best to stay away.
