Miracle Hominy Corn is a corn product made by Seprod that's good for making porridge. It's made from whole kernels of dried field corn, also known as maize, that have been nixtamalized, a process that gives hominy its distinctive texture and flavor. Hominy has a mild, earthy-sweet taste, but the nixtamalization process brings out its nuttiness and gives it a fluffy-yet-chewy texture. Yellow hominy tends to be sweeter than white hominy.
