HELLO,
A little note before you order
Piccola is a small home bakery, and every bake is made in small batches.
Menus rotate, quantities are limited, and recipes sometimes take a little while to make their way from my kitchen to yours.
I spend a lot of time testing, tweaking and occasionally starting over before I'm happy to put something on the menu.
Here's everything you need to know before bringing a Piccola bake home.
How can I order?
All Piccola orders are placed through Take App.
When a pre-order opens, you'll find the order link through our Instagram bio or Telegram channel.
Simply:
1. Choose your bakes
2. Select your fulfilment option
3. Enter your details
4. Make payment
5. Upload your payment screenshot on Take App
Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully made and the payment screenshot has been uploaded.
Please don't consider an order confirmed until you've completed both steps.
What happens after I order?
Once your payment has been received and your payment screenshot uploaded, your order is secured.
We'll send you a reminder 24 hours before your selected fulfilment / delivery slot so you know your bakes are on their way soon.
Please check that your email address, phone number and delivery address are correct when placing your order.
I didn't receive my confirmation. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder.
If you're still unable to find it, send us a message with your order details and we'll help you check.
Please do not place another order immediately, as this may result in a duplicate order.
When do pre-orders open?
There isn't a fixed weekly schedule just yet.
Pre-orders will be announced on Instagram, together with:
- the edit menu
- available flavours
- pre-order opening time
- fulfilment date
- pick-up/delivery window
Follow along so you don't miss the next batch.
Why doesn't Piccola have a fixed menu?
I have far too many ideas sitting in my head.
Piccola's menu will rotate with the seasons and whatever I'm working on in the kitchen.
Some recipes will become signatures and return regularly, while others might make a short appearance before making way for something new.
The first few launches will focus on our signature recipes — the ones we've spent the most time testing and perfecting.
Why are quantities limited?
Because Piccola is a small kitchen.
I'd rather make fewer bakes properly than make more than I can comfortably handle.
Small batches also mean I can pay attention to the details, from the dough to the final bake.
Are your bakes made to order?
Yes. Our bakes are prepared specifically for each bake sale, based on the orders received.
This is why we're unable to accept cancellations or changes once an order has been confirmed.
It also means your bake isn't sitting around waiting for someone to buy it.
Do you offer custom cakes or custom flavours?
Not at the moment.
For now, I'm keeping Piccola small and focusing on our own recipes and seasonal menu.
There are plenty of ideas I'd love to explore eventually, I'm just taking my time with them.
What goes into a Piccola bake?
I don't believe every ingredient is interchangeable.
I spend quite a bit of time choosing ingredients based on flavour, texture and how they work within the recipe.
Are Piccola bakes vegan?
Our bakes generally contain dairy and/or eggs, so they are not vegan friendly unless specifically stated otherwise.
Are Piccola bakes halal-certified?
Piccola is not halal-certified.
We will provide ingredient information where relevant, but if halal certification is important to you, please purchase with discretion.
What allergens do your bakes contain?
Our kitchen handles common allergens including:
gluten · dairy · eggs · nuts · sesame
Individual bakes may contain different allergens. Because everything is made in the same kitchen, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment or the absence of traces.
If you have a serious allergy or severe food intolerance, please contact us before placing your order so we can advise whether a particular bake is suitable.
How much is delivery?
We charge a flat rate of $12
When will my order arrive?
Each bake sale will have its own delivery date and delivery window, which will be shown at checkout.
Please make sure someone is available to receive your order during the stated window.
We'll send you a reminder 24 hours before your delivery slot.
Can I choose a specific delivery time?
Unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate specific delivery time requests.
Orders are sent out in batches through third-party couriers, and the actual arrival time depends on courier availability and routing.
We'll always do our best to get your bakes to you within the stated window.
What if my delivery is delayed?
Occasional delays can happen due to courier availability, traffic or routing.
We really appreciate your patience while our delivery partners make their way to you.
If there is a significant issue with your delivery, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Where can you deliver?
Our third-party delivery partners are unable to deliver to certain restricted locations, including:
- Jurong Island
- Tuas
- Changi Cargo
- SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1
- Army camps
- Offshore islands, including Pulau Ubin
- Singapore Prison Quarters
- Shipyards
- PowerGrid sites
- Lim Chu Kang
- Checkpoints
- Airbase sites
- Construction sites
If your delivery address falls within one of these areas, please do not select the delivery option at checkout.
You may arrange your own door-to-door courier during the designated fulfilment window, or arrange an alternative collection where applicable.
What if I enter an incorrect address?
Please check your address carefully before completing your order.
Make sure you include:
Building name / street · Block · Unit number · Postal code · Contact number
If an incorrect or incomplete address results in a failed delivery or redelivery, any additional courier charges may need to be borne by the customer.
Do you offer self-collection?
Pick-up is only available when specifically stated in the bake sale announcement.
If pick-up is available, the date, location and collection window will be shown at checkout.
Please collect your order within the stated window, as our bakes are made fresh for the selected fulfilment date.
Can someone collect on my behalf?
Yes. You may arrange for someone else to collect your order, provided they have the relevant order details.
You're also welcome to arrange your own courier to collect your order during the designated collection window.
Once the order has been handed over to your courier, Piccola cannot be responsible for loss, damage or delays during transit.
Can I change my order?
As a small bakery, all Piccola bakes are made to order based on the quantities received during each bake sale.
Because of this, we're unable to accommodate changes to confirmed orders.
Please take a moment to check your flavours, quantities and fulfilment details before completing payment. ♡
Can I cancel my order?
We're unable to accept cancellations or provide refunds once an order has been confirmed.
This is because we purchase ingredients and allocate baking capacity based on confirmed orders.
Thank you for understanding and supporting a small kitchen.
How should I store my bakes?
Every order will come with a card, along with storage and reheating instructions.
As a general guide, most bakes are best enjoyed fresh.
For longer storage, many bakes can be frozen in an airtight container.
We generally don't recommend refrigerating certain butter-based bakes, as refrigeration can affect their texture and make them firmer or drier. This is consistent with how some established Singapore bakeries advise customers to store butter-based cakes and pastries.
Can I freeze my bakes?
For suitable bakes, yes.
As a general guide, they can be stored airtight in the freezer for 2 weeks or longer, depending on the item.
Always follow the product-specific instructions included with your order.
How long do the bakes last?
This depends on the bake.
For the best flavour and texture, we recommend enjoying most items on the day of delivery or within the timeframe stated on their care card.
Some bakes keep well for several days, while others are best enjoyed fresh.

🤎♡ A LITTLE NOTE ♡🤎
Piccola is intentionally small.
Small batches.
A small kitchen.
A rotating menu.
A lot of testing.
Sometimes a recipe comes together immediately.
Sometimes it takes five attempts.
Sometimes I think I've finally got it, only to bake another batch the following weekend and realise I can make it a little better.
That's part of why I started Piccola.
I want to make things slowly, thoughtfully, and with ingredients I genuinely believe in before sharing them with you.
Thank you for giving me the space to do that.
