The Kuroiler is a dual-purpose hybrid chicken breed, developed in India, known for both high meat yield and good egg production. It's well-suited for free-range and scavenging conditions with good disease resistance and fast growth, maturing in 10 weeks to a weight of about 3.5 kg. A key limitation is that Kuroilers do not go broody, meaning they do not sit on their own eggs to hatch them.
