Tumis
Tumis in the Malay language means “fry". In traditional Peranakan heritage culinary, the ingredients needs to be tumis to bring out the flavours. Each ingredient will be tumis layer by layer, allowing every unique flavour to be extracted fully.
Here at Tumis, Chef Edmund is inspired to share peranakan family's cooking, stories and memories. He established Tumis out of his home during the COVID19 period to bring Nyonya food comfort to his friends and customers.
