Original Single Barrel
Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon is derived from the center-cut or middle sections of the renowned Warehouse H. Previously, it was reserved for ambassadors, dignitaries, and Colonel Blanton's family and close associates. Now, it is available to everyone, making it the world's first single-barrel bourbon. The flavor profile is sweet with notes of citrus and oak, and the creamy vanilla aroma is complemented by hints of caramel, butterscotch, and familiar baking spices such as clove, nutmeg, or cinnamon. Blanton's Original Single Barrel Bourbon established the benchmark for single-barrel bourbons in 1984. The best way to enjoy it is neat or on the rocks. It has an alcohol content of 46.5% by volume when bottled.
