Learn safely proper skills and techniques to freedive and get certified as a PADI Freediver so that you can freedive anywhere in the world!

The Freediver Level 1 course runs for 3 days. This is the general overview of the course. Schedule can be arranged to suit your need.

Pre-requisite: You need to be able to swim 200m with no swimming aid, or 300m with mask, snorkel and fins non-stop. There is no time limit.

Topics covered in Online learning:
• Introduction
• Physics 1
• The Physiology of Freediving 1
• Equipment 1
• Freediving Skills 1
• The Open Water Environment
• Aquatic Life
• Standard Safe Freediving Practices

Pool session (Day 1):
• Freediving equipments
• Proper breathing techniques in four phases
• Static breathholds (STA)
• Buddy system & safety
• Dynamic diving skills: entry, duck dive, flutter kick, body position, proper weighting, etc.
• Underwater swim (DYN)
• Buddy and rescue procedures
• ⁠Dive to 5m

Open Water Sessions (Day 2-3):
• Introductions of techniques: free immersion (pulling ), duck dives, finning technique, body positioning, equalization, buoyancy, etc.
• Basic safety and rescue: Buddy and rescue procedures
• Depth of dives: 10-16m deep

Certification requirement:
• Completed Freediver Knowledge review, online exam and Quick review
• At least 25m underwater swim with bifins
• At least 90 seconds breath hold
• Constant Weight to 10m
• Rescue diver at 5m
