Cialis® 20mg contains tadalafil, a prescription medicine belonging to a class of medicines known as PDE5 inhibitors. It is used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and, at a 5mg daily dose, may also be prescribed for symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis when sexual stimulation occurs, helping to achieve and maintain an erection. It does not increase sexual desire and does not produce an erection without sexual stimulation.
