How It All Started:
Our journey into the food business kicked off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, we found ourselves with a bit more time on our hands and started dreaming up ways to create something special together. That's when the idea for our first home-based business, "Uncle Leaw Thai Seafood," was born!
Taking the Plunge and Learning Hard Lessons:
We were so pumped because "Uncle Leaw Thai Seafood" really took off! The support we got from everyone during that time was incredible and super encouraging. It convinced us to take a leap of faith and open a physical stall, despite our best efforts, the business at the stall just wasn't picking up, and we had to close down.
Bouncing Back: The Birth of Moo Teow Minced Pork Noodle
We decided to go back to our roots with a home-based business again. Our first attempt was "Mee.Coffee," where we offered coffee, tea, and waffles. However, it wasn't quite hitting the mark compared to selling food.
After a lot of research, development, and a fair bit of trial and error, we landed on something we truly loved: Thai-Chinese Minced Pork Noodle! And that's how Moo Teow Minced Pork Noodle came to be. The name "Moo Teow" is actually Thai, with "Moo" meaning pork and "Teow" meaning noodle.
