The Balvenie Pedro Ximénez Cask is a complex and richly distinct single malt which has been finished in casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. Pedro Ximénez is a white Spanish wine grape variety grown in several Spanish wine regions. The heat from the sun ripens the vines and produces a wine of intense, dessert-like sweetness.
Colour: Golden.
Nose: A medley of flavours from raisins and bursting currants that intertwine with oak and subtle clove whilst concealing a
smooth sweet lavender.
Taste: A modern classic fruit fusion of tart grape skin, mandarin and fig that flows together with vibrant oak to coat the mouth with a delicate oil and honeyed sweetness.
Finish: Gentle and lingering.
