Supporting the diet with ALL three key macula carotenoids Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Meso-Zeaxanthin
Each Macu-Save capsule contains 10mgMeso-Zeaxanthin, 10mg Lutein and 2mg Zeaxanthin –derived using extracts of the marigold flower (Tagetes Erecta).
Crucially these three ingredients are also the same three macular carotenoids found in high concentrations at the back of the eye within the yellow coloured filter or macular pigment.
Significantly however, these three macular carotenoids are entirely derived from our diets and as such cannot be produced by the body. Some diets are lacking in the right foods that are rich in Lutein, Zeaxanthin orMeso-Zeaxanthin.
