Kadala Parupu Urundai (also spelled Kadalai Paruppu Urundai) is a traditional South Indian sweet made from roasted Bengal gram (chana dal) and jaggery. The mixture is flavored with a hint of cardamom and shaped into small, round balls (urundai in Tamil).
