Kyoki Matcha is a ceremonial-grade powder crafted from the first flush tea leaves of Shizuoka and Kagoshima, Japan. These regions are blessed with fertile volcanic soil, pure mountain water, and centuries of tea-making tradition, resulting in a matcha that is as vibrant in color as it is in taste.

🌿 Cultivar Blend
Kyoki Matcha is a carefully crafted blend of four premium Japanese tea cultivars:
Okumidori
Okumidori is prized for a smooth, balanced character with pronounced umami and a warm, nutty finish. It also gives a deep, lustrous green and a rounded mouthfeel that reduces chalkiness. This makes it a frequent choice for premium matcha blends that want fullness without astringency.
Saemidori
Saemidori lends vivid green colour and a clean, rounded sweetness with strong umami and minimal bitterness. It brightens both flavour and appearance and is often used to reduce harsh, grassy or bitter notes.
Saeakari
Saeakari is celebrated for high amino-acid/umami content and performs well under heavy shading (gyokuro-style). It contributes a concentrated savoury depth and vibrant colour while supporting a silky, gyokuro-like smoothness.
Tsuyuhikari
Tsuyuhikari is known for a floral/sakura-leaf aroma, a bright emerald liquor, and an ability to combine fragrant top notes with solid umami, giving the blend a lifted, refreshing high end without adding bitterness.
