Wholemeal Focaccia

Wholemeal Focaccia- a classic Italian flat bread, topped with herbs and extra virgin olive oil, is a party winner. Serve it with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil on the side with a salad or a soup . You can also slice it in half to make a panini.

Ours is made with wholegrain heritage Spelt wheat flour and Italian 00 flour. Fermented for more than 18 hrs, it’s extremely flavourful. It has a crispy crust and soft and fluffy in the centre.
Size of foccacia is approximate 8 by 10 rectangle. Makes 4 paninis or can be cut into small squares to feed up to 8-10 people.

Best eaten on the day baked or up to 2 days.
