MILD SOUR is stone-baked loaf that is light in both flavour and texture. Others might call this Pain au Levain or Country Bread. By design, it is simple (although simple is complicated, wink) and versatile. Enjoy this bread as is or with heavier savoury dishes. Sublime when toasted/browned. This is the default bread served at our Toast Bar. Made with classic French technique and French flours (but not French labour). Cc Ian Lowe. 1400g before baking. Store in a airtight container or ziplock.

Perceived sourness 2/5. Leavened with sourdough and nothing else! Crusty, unenriched (lean), unsweetened and vegan.
