Sometimes I like to add a little extra goodness with a gentle mushroom boost. Both Reishi and Turkey Tail have been used for centuries for their wellness benefits, and they’ve been such a lovely addition to my own dogs’ diets.
Reishi – Known as a calming, balancing mushroom. It helps ease inflammation, supports the immune system in a gentle way, and brings powerful antioxidants for overall wellness and recovery.
Turkey Tail – A wonderful mushroom for gut and immune health. It’s rich in natural compounds that feed good gut bacteria, strengthen resilience, and provide extra antioxidant support.
Feeding Guidelines
Serving Sizes (≈4 g per serving)
• Small dogs (≤10 kg): ½ tsp (~2 g) daily
• Medium dogs (10–25 kg): 1 tsp (~4 g) daily
• Large dogs (25–40 kg): 1½ tsp (~6 g) daily
• Giant breeds (40+ kg): 2 tsp (~8 g) daily
• Puppies (over 12 weeks, if vet-approved): ½ tsp daily
Puppies (under 12 months): Only under vet/nutritionist guidance.
