Gentishe Biodegradable Pad , is an environmental friendly sanitary towel, made of highly absorbent, anti-bacterial, antifungal, hypo-allergenic,biodegradable, natural cellulose, bamboo & banana pulp. The non-woven sheet, allows for the menstrual blood to be absorbed into the central bamboo & banana fluff in its original form, therefore not reactive to any chemicals nor gel coatings. The high absorbency nature of bamboo, captures the blood leaving only a small portion to drain into the high fibre waterproof layer. The soiled pad is biodegradable and the solid waste thereof can be used to make compost and does not contribute to carbon emissions, thus protecting the ozone layer.
