It comes as a prefilled, single-dose pen containing 0.25 mg of semaglutide in 0.5 mL of solution. It’s injected subcutaneously (under the skin) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, once weekly, at any time of day, with or without food. Each pen delivers four doses, lasting one month.
